Purchasing a Sex Guaranteed Gecko

Although I have had years of experience at sexing Rhacodactylus Geckos, I will not state a sex until they are around 6 months old (or at least 10g in weight). This mainly applies to people specifically wanting females.

For obvious reasons these geckos will command a higher price. Anyone purchasing a female will have all the details pertaining to that particular gecko in writing. 

In the unfortunate event that a gecko was wrongly sexed by me, I would of course offer you a full refund once the gecko had been returned to me, and providing it is still as healthy as it was when it left me.

I am completely dedicated to any reptiles I sell although once it has left my care it is up to the new owner to provide the correct care that the reptile needs. I reserve the right to refuse the sale of any reptile if I feel it is going to the wrong home, so please don't be offended if I ask YOU lots of questions, I care very much about my animals and want to make sure they will have a new and happy home for the rest of their lives. I would welcome any questions you may have concerning housing feeding, health etc, either before or after you have chosen your gecko.

I love to see photos and hear how they are doing once they have gone to their new homes. Unfortunately I cannot give refunds for any animals I have sold, of course if you find you can no longer cope, or are having problems which you feel unable to deal with at any time, I will of course take the animal back, if this is what you request.                                                        
All of my gecko/s are guaranteed feeding and healthy when sold.

The following terms are in place to ensure that people are aware of their obligation to care for the geckos and make sure they know what this would entail.

You must be 16 years or over to purchase any of my gecko/s, or have permission from a parent/gaurdian (I would need confirmation of this)

I accept payment either in cash or Cheque. If payment is to be made by cheque, the animal/s will not be delivered/collected until the cheque has cleared. This usually takes 5 working days.

If you wish to place an animal on hold, I would need a £15 non-refundable deposit. This will place the animal on hold for 3 weeks maximum, after which time the remainder of the payment in full is required (we don't send out reminders) If full payment is not recieved before the holding period has expired the animal will be put up for sale once again and your deposit will be forfeited. 

Animals may either be collected from my place of residence, or courier can be arranged via the Reptile Taxi, or another reputable firm.
Collection and courier: I feel that collection is the best way  to go as it means I get to meet you and answer any questions you may have in person. If you would prefer to collect the gecko/s in person I would be grateful if you could give me plenty of notice as to when you would be arriving, so I would be home to greet you, as I am sure some of you can appreiciate I do have quite busy life. The cost of  the courier will obviously depend on the distance that they would have to travel. If a courier is required then it is at the cost of the buyer and only if the weather conditions are acceptable, the welfare of the gecko/s is my first priority, so please don't be offended if I decide not to courier until I deem weather conditions are safe for the gecko/s. In this instance I would hold the gecko/s until weather conditions are suitable for transporting any gecko/s, obviously this would be at no extra cost to you. As a courier service I would recommend Reptile Taxi as I have used them in the past and have found them very reasonably priced and the animals always arrive in excellent health and very quickly. If you would like to arrange your own courier you must ensure that they are reliable and have experience in delivering reptiles. Any courier service which I arrange will need to be paid for in full before the gecko will be sent out. I would ask that you let me know within 1 hour of delivery that the gecko's have arrived safely (or if there are any problems)

All delivered animals come with a Live On Arrival guarantee. However, all guarantees will be null and void if no-one is present to sign for the delivery. In the unlikely event that your animals are DOA (dead on arrival) contact needs to be made within 1 hour of arrival, and the body to be preserved in a sealed freezer bag, frozen, and posted back to us in a sealed Jiffy bag via 1st class Royal Mail. A refund may then be issued, or we will try to find you a replacement (if this is acceptable). Delivery charges are obviously non-refundable, as are all delivery charges in connection with any replacement. I want the whole process to go as smoothly as possible, so if there is a problem of any sort on arrival of your animal/s I will  do my very best to try and rectify the problem or give advice on how best to deal with it.

My reputation is very important to me as I have built and maintained my good name by providing quality animals for a number of years, and am proud to be able to say I have never had anything but praise from the people who have bought my animals over the years. If  you encounter any problems with your gecko/s, please allow me a reasonable time to rectify any problem you may have. I would also ask that any problems with which you are concerned about are kept strictly between us. 

Posting any details of the sale, or any problems or claims, on public forums or any website will be deemed a direct violation of this policy and as a consequence will result in the immediate and unconditional void of the guarantee.
